Copying the ornaments of the old age is not the goal, but the emphasis on the complexity, multilevelity and progressiveness of the spaces, such as a Zsolnay ceramic was also made up of the most advanced technology and represented the reinforced concrete and steel structure in architecture in its own time. This kind of up-to-date sophistication was meant to be passed-on in the design of this current project as well.

When the Párizsi Udvar was built, the collaboration of architecture, industry and fine art was flourishing. As a result, wonderful artworks have been created, which are still characteristic of Budapest. The representatives of the various artists assumed each other’s craftsmanship, supplemented and inspired each other’s. This way, a lot of buildings were born that have professionally and aesthetically diverse perspectives, giving the audience an impulsive and adaptable experience.

The night lights of Budapest are impressive, and it’s a part of the city’s “brand”. One of the essential elements of the original Párizsi Udvar concept is playing with light. This appears is many ways: the glass top of the passage, the perforated dome of the former bank branch or the coloured glass windows. The main concept of the interior design would be the light. This would be expressed in how we can clarify the current dark passage, whether natural or artificial. It is important to emphasize materiality and detail abundance. These materials include glazed ceramics, glass-concrete, coloured planes and teetered glass, textile glass, photo glass, natural stone, terrazzo, woven carpets.

The colour scheme of the planned areas could be derived from the original colours. Zsolnay ceramics are inspirational for today’s designers and stimulating for people. That would be the starting point. The whole concept could be extended from dinnerware to staff dress, all in domestic design and production.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”a-content-body”]BACK TO PROJECTS[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces”][vc_column][rev_slider_vc alias=”p-paris”][vc_column_text el_class=”tartalom”]+ PÁRIZSI UDVAR, INTERIOR DESIGN[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″ el_id=”tartalom”][vc_column_text el_class=”a-content-h1″]PÁRIZSI UDVAR INTERIOR DESIGN[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner el_class=”a-content-body”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text] Location Budapest, Ferenciek tere Client Párizs Property Kft.
