The villa’s plans were made in 1898, ordered by J\u00e1nos Stangl\u2019s widow. The designers Patisti-Hauer were a master builder couple. It was originally intended as a holiday home, and it also worked as a presbytery. The building is protected by the Capital\u2019s cultural heritage.
\nIn the previous situation, the terrain was very sloping towards the Budakeszi road, so it was less suitable for children activities in the courtyard. In addition, on the spot, one had the feeling of being as if the lower floor of the villa was dug. The exploration of the symmetrical and proportional terrain of intentional archival plans has been restored. The mass of the new building also delimits the traffic and parking area from the playground.
\nThe intention of the concept is that the new part of the building is not a competitor of the mass of the villa, but rather the interpretation of the terrain.
\nThe two parts of the building are connected to each other by a “bridge”. In the new section we created the new main entrance through which both the old and the new rooms are accessible.<\/p>\n

The planned building consists of two stories. The upper level is the actual nursery level, where the group rooms connected bathrooms and locker rooms are located. The larger one is a “classic” nursing unit, the smaller one is suitable for holding childrens’ events and preschooling. During external weekend events, room groups can be separated and locked.
\nFor a nursery school, it is important to have connection between the courtyard and the building itself, so we have direct access from the lobby, from the corridor and one of the group rooms. The opennings of the circulation spaces, the low parapet height of the windows, the playground and the facade graphics also strengthen the unity of the interior and exterior spaces.
\nThe lower level is completely independent of nursery school level so there is no need for stairs, a ramp or a lift. As a result, children are not mixed with the adult traffic of the economic office or the event room.<\/p>\n
